LA GOMERA – VALLE GRAN REY
La Gomera, the second smallest Canary Island is situated west from Tenerife. The island is in the Eastern part of the Atlantic Ocean close to the African coast.
It is a volcanic island, approximately round where the diameter is around 20-22 km. The capital city is San Sebastian de La Gomera. Approx. 22,000 inhabitants live here. Its highest peak is Garajonay, 1,487 m that is surrounded by a national park famous for the unique laurel forest.
The island with its enormous mountains and valleys is the perfect destination of the tourists who enjoy activities like

The ocean depth reaches more than 1,000 meters within minutes off the coast. Thus a 5-10 minute trip from port is enough to enjoy deep fishing. The fauna is rich in different species of fish, mammals and birds. It is an exciting place for fishing.
Valle Gran Rey is on the south-west coast, where waters are calm even in winter. You can navigate to the south or the south-east you can navigate mostly on the still ocean. The sea temperature at the coast is 19-24 °C all year around.
